PAF end-user licence

Royal Mail 邮编 地址 File (PAF®) end-user terms that apply when you use the address-lookup feature on an Andromeda-powered ordering website or app.

Background

Andromeda uses the Royal Mail 邮编 地址 File ("PAF®") to power the address-lookup feature on ordering websites, mobile apps and kiosks. PAF® data is licensed to Andromeda under a solution-provider agreement with Royal Mail Group Ltd. These terms set out the conditions on which you, as an end user, may use PAF® data presented to you through an Andromeda-powered service.

Licence grant

Royal Mail Group Ltd grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use PAF® data made available to you through the Andromeda service solely for the purpose of:

  • Looking up your own 外送 address to place an order
  • Saving your own address to your account for future use
  • Verifying the format of an address you enter manually

Restrictions

You must not:

  • Extract, copy, store, republish or resell PAF® data
  • Use PAF® data to create a competing address database or service
  • Use PAF® data for bulk direct marketing, data cleansing or list-enhancement purposes
  • Remove, hide or alter any PAF® or Royal Mail branding, notices or attributions
  • Use PAF® data in any way that breaches applicable law, including data-protection law

Intellectual property

PAF®, Royal Mail and the Royal Mail cruciform are trade marks of Royal Mail Group Ltd. All intellectual property rights in PAF® data remain with Royal Mail Group Ltd. This end-user licence grants you a right to use the data as described above; it does not transfer any ownership to you.

No warranty

PAF® data is provided on an "as is" basis. While Royal Mail and Andromeda take reasonable care to keep address data accurate and up to date, neither party warrants that the data is complete or error-免费. You are responsible for confirming that any address shown to you is correct before relying on it for 外送.

Termination

Your right to use PAF® data through an Andromeda-powered service ends automatically if you breach these terms, and will also end if the solution-provider agreement between Andromeda and Royal Mail Group Ltd ends for any reason.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales and any dispute arising under them is subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
