For wing restaurants

Twelve heats. Four dips. One basket. Fired on the final whistle.

Buffalo, Korean BBQ, Nashville hot, dry rub, garlic parm — wings are a flavour matrix, not a line item. Andromeda gives you split baskets, heat sliders, group feeds and sports-night scheduling built for the way wing shops actually sell.

Wings don't behave like pizzas. A single basket can carry two sauces, two dips, and a cook style (bone-in vs boneless) — and half your orders are timed to a kick-off or a round one bell. If your POS treats every wing order like a generic fast-food ticket, your fry cook is doing the splitting in their head at 7:59pm. Andromeda doesn't.

Split basket, timed fire, clean ticket.

Two sauces in a basket is a feature, not a complication.

Customers can split a basket across two sauces, pick 12-level heat, choose bone-in or boneless, add side dips, and pick a cook style (traditional, breaded, or naked). The fryer ticket shows the split, the toss order, and the dips on one line so your cook never has to translate a text note.

For sports nights, the order carries a fire time — wings drop into the oil five minutes before kick-off, not when the till beeps at 5pm. The kitchen sees the prep window, not the pressure wave.

Everything a wing joint needs, nothing it doesn't.

12-level heat slider

Mild to atomic, on the website, app, and kiosk. Heat prints to the kitchen in plain English, no decoder ring. Waivers fire automatically above level 10.

Fire-time scheduling

Customers set a fire time tied to kick-off or round start. Kitchen sees the prep queue, not a wall of tickets at 7:59pm. Your oil — and your sanity — survive.

Boss Feasts & group feeds

40-wing, 60-wing, 100-wing configurable bundles with sauce splits and side stacks. One ticket, one order number, one fire time. Group pre-orders the day before.

Branded mobile app

iOS and Android under your name with push notifications for match-day offers. Dual-channel customers are worth 3.6× web-only LTV, and app-only customers order 12× a month versus 3.4× for web-only.

Self-order kiosk

Kiosks run the full basket builder, split sauces and heat slider. Queues in the door halve on match nights. Upsell prompts — "add a side of bacon cheese fries?" — lift AOV 15-20%.

Multi-site central menu

Roll a new sauce — blackened garlic butter — across 12 sites in one push. Regional tweaks without losing the master. Your head chef stays in charge.

"Sports nights used to be carnage. Now the orders come in the night before with fire times — we have the oil prepped, the sauces laid out, and wings drop five minutes before kick-off. Customer satisfaction went up, fryer stress went down."

Things wing shop owners ask.

Can a single basket be split between two sauces — say 6 Buffalo and 4 Korean BBQ?

Yes. Split baskets are native. The customer picks two sauces, two heat levels, two toss orders. The fryer ticket shows the split on one line so the cook doesn't interpret a free-text note.

Can customers schedule wings to drop at kick-off time?

Yes. Every order carries a fire time. Customers pick "fire at 7:55pm" on the app or website. Your kitchen sees the prep queue the day before, not a wall at 7:59pm. This alone has saved our customers from melting down on sports nights.

How do group feeds work for office parties and sports nights?

Boss Feasts are configurable bundles — 40 wings, 60 wings, 100 wings — with sauce splits, side stacks, dips and drinks. One ticket, one fire time. Customers pre-order from the website or app; a deposit holds the slot.

Can we print heat waivers for extreme heats?

Yes. Anything above level 10 requires the customer to acknowledge the heat waiver at checkout — on the kiosk, app or website. A heat-waiver line prints on the receipt so the front-of-house has a paper trail if someone challenges the burn.

Can we push a new sauce to all our sites at once?

Yes. Menu is centralised. Add blackened garlic butter as a head-office item, push it to every site in one click. Regional price overrides are supported, so a London site can charge differently from a Sheffield one.

Deliveroo commission on a £30 basket is eating our margin — what can we do?

Run a price uplift per aggregator channel so Deliveroo customers cover the commission, while your website and app prices stay low. Regulars end up ordering through your app (cheaper + loyalty), which is exactly where you want them.
