Deliver Plus privacy policy

How the Deliver Plus driver tracking service handles personal information and live GPS data.

Overview

Deliver Plus is the driver tracking service that pairs with the Andromeda POS to give the restaurant a live map of drivers on the road and to provide the customer with an arriving-soon estimate. This policy sets out what information Deliver Plus collects, how it is used and how it is protected. It should be read alongside our main privacy policy.

Who controls your data

The restaurant you drive for is the data controller. Andromeda UK Services Ltd operates Deliver Plus as the data processor on the restaurant's behalf. Employment questions, tracking policy questions and pay questions are matters for the restaurant; technical questions about the app can be directed to us.

What we collect

  • Your name and driver login as set up by the restaurant
  • Device identifier and, optionally, phone number used to re-authenticate the app
  • GPS location while you are clocked in for a delivery run
  • Delivery event timestamps (pickup, out-the-door, arrived, complete)
  • Order reference and drop-off postcode or delivery zone for each assigned job
  • Anonymised diagnostic and crash data

How your data is used

  • To show the restaurant where its drivers are on a live operator map
  • To power the arriving-soon estimate shown to the customer
  • To record service-time metrics for the restaurant's reporting
  • To diagnose app faults and improve reliability

When location is captured

Location is captured only while Deliver Plus is clocked in. Clocking off stops tracking. Location history is retained only for as long as it is operationally useful for dispute resolution and service-time reporting, and is deleted on a rolling basis thereafter.

How your data is protected

All traffic between the app and our servers is encrypted in transit. Access to driver location data inside our systems is restricted to authorised personnel on a need-to-know basis.

Your rights

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information. Please speak to the restaurant you drive for in the first instance, or contact us at info@andromedapos.com. We will respond within 28 days.
