Andromeda Kiosks. Now live.

After a long beta with a handful of brave early customers, our self-service kiosk is now generally available. Fewer queues, bigger baskets, and one less thing for your counter team to worry about on a Friday night.

"Two kiosks replaced three counter staff on Saturdays — and the average basket went up 18%. The room to breathe at peak is the bit we weren't expecting."

Kiosks aren't new. We've watched the market long enough to know what works and what doesn't — and we've spent the last year building a kiosk that fits the way our customers actually run their restaurants. Same menu, same modifiers, same deals, same loyalty, same payment stack. No second menu system. No awkward reconciliation at close.

It's live in beta stores across three cuisines, and it's been proving its worth in the places that need it most: busy counters, lunch rushes, and any site where the front-of-house team is one short at 7pm.

Built for the way you already work.

One menu, everywhere

The kiosk pulls its menu from the same place as your website, app and counter. Edit a price once, it updates everywhere. No parallel menu system.

Upsell that pays

Smart add-on prompts, deal-based bundles and visual suggestions are built in. Beta stores are seeing 15–22% higher AOV on kiosk orders vs counter.

Payments, done

Runs on the same terminals you already use. Pay-at-kiosk or pay-at-counter modes. Full receipts, full refunds, full audit trail through the POS.

Why now

Labour is tight. Customers increasingly prefer to order at their own pace. And the kiosks we've seen in the market have either been expensive white-label boxes with a monthly bill to match, or rough ports of someone else's website onto a touch screen. We wanted something that felt native to Andromeda — and native to the way an independent operator thinks.

Hardware is your choice: recommended units from our supplier, or bring your own if you've already got a landscape touch screen. Software is a flat monthly fee — no per-order charges, no per-basket nonsense. Low transparent fees, as always.

Getting started

If you're already on Andromeda, adding kiosk is a config change in your Portal and a hardware drop-ship. Most sites are live within two weeks. If you're not on Andromeda yet, a kiosk rollout is a good reason to move the whole stack — and we'll help you plan it without a big-bang weekend.
